This Workforce Hazard Recognition Training aims to empower employees with the knowledge to identify and mitigate risks in their work environment. This includes recognizing actions and situations that may deteriorate into safety hazards or costly incidents.

Upon successful completion of the Workforce Hazard Recognition Training, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the significance of hazard recognition in the workplace and the correlation between unsafe actions and incidents
  • Know the best practices for evaluating, investigating, recognizing, and resolving hazards in the workplace
  • Understand the advantages of utilizing a checklist during pre-shift inspections
  • Recognize the four categories of hazards
