Our Lead Awareness course is designed to equip you with the knowledge of lead locations, the occupational risks and health implications of lead exposure, and the shared responsibility between employers and employees to reduce lead exposure in the workplace.

Our Lead Awareness course imparts crucial information about the locations of lead, occupational risks, health implications of lead exposure, and how both you and your employer can work together to reduce lead exposure at work.

After successfully completing our Lead Awareness course, you should be capable of:

  • Determining the features of lead and identifying sources of lead exposure
  • Understanding potential health implications from exposure to lead
  • Recognizing the signs of lead poisoning
  • Comprehending employer’s accountability to minimize your exposure to lead by identifying workplace hazards, implementing work practice controls, and instituting a medical surveillance program
  • Appreciating your role in reducing your exposure to lead by adhering to the required PPE, including respiratory protection
  • Adopting effective hygiene practices to safeguard you from lead exposure

Throughout this online Lead Awareness course, testing is conducted to reinforce the provided information. To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 80% must be achieved. If the participant does not pass, they are given two more opportunities to complete the course.


CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this online Lead Awareness course, a certificate of completion will be readily available for download and printing.
