The goal of Workplace Inspections is to offer a foundational structure that ensures inspections are comprehensive, include key staff members, incorporate an evaluation process, promote employee engagement, and foster ongoing enhancement of both the occupational health and safety culture and the formal Workplace Inspections program. The ultimate aim of structured Workplace Inspections is to prevent accidents resulting from hazards.

This course may qualify for 0.2 CEUs for the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) – Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD Program) for the purpose of recertification in maintaining the BCRSP certification. A mark of 80% must be achieved on the final exam in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are allowed to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt. Supplemental materials for this course are available online.
