Safe Vehicle Recovery
This course is designed to guide farm workers and owners in safely extricating immobilized vehicles on the farm, thereby preventing injury and damage to equipment.
Upon completion of the Safe Vehicle Recovery course, you will be able to:
- Identify potential dangers involved in vehicle recovery.
- Outline the parameters of secure recovery zones.
- Differentiate between recovery and towing equipment, and
- Pinpoint tools that are safe to use for recovering immobilized vehicles on the farm.
The Safe Vehicle Recovery course will cover the following topics:
- An overview of the risks involved in vehicle recovery,
- Distinguishing Towing from Recovering,
- Selection of Suitable Recovery Equipment,
- Establishment of Secure Recovery Zones, and
- Protocols for Safe Vehicle Recovery.

The passing score is 75%
Upon successful completion, a certificate will be issued.
