    COURSE OVERVIEW

    This DOT HAZMAT Security Awareness online course is specifically aimed at employees who deal with hazardous materials. The course covers a variety of topics with the aim of heightening the employees’ awareness of potential security risks they might face when transporting hazardous materials. This course has been tailored to adhere to the Department of Transportation’s HAZMAT Training regulation on the handling and transporting of hazardous materials, offering essential information to comply with the regulation’s Security Awareness training requirement. (This course can be utilized as a standalone program or as a supplementary resource to MARCOM’s DOT HAZMAT In-Depth Training program). The DOT HAZMAT Security Awareness course provides information on DOT’s HAZMAT security requirements, the potential security risks related to transporting hazardous materials, strategies developed to enhance transportation security, ways to identify security risks, and appropriate responses to potential security threats, among other things.

    PASS MARK

    Throughout the DOT HAZMAT Security Awareness online course, testing is employed to reinforce the presented information. A passing score of 80% is required for successful completion. The course can be attempted three times to achieve the passing score. A comprehensive student manual, available for download and printing, serves as a valuable reference for future use and knowledge retention.

    CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

    A certificate of completion will be available for download and printing upon successful completion of the DOT HAZMAT Security Awareness online course.
