The online Respiratory Protection Training course is curated to educate you on the distinct types of respirators and their correct utilization.
In an environment where the air quality is compromised, your respirator may serve as your lifeline. Our Respiratory Protection Training course will facilitate the process of selecting an appropriate respirator, as well as ensure you’re well-versed in performing fit tests, user seal checks, and understanding the correct method of donning, inspecting, maintaining, and storing your respirator.
This online Respiratory Protection Training course covers the following topics:
- Respiratory hazards
- Types of respirators and when to use them
- Steps for ensuring a proper fit
- Donning your respirator
- User seal checks
- Inspecting your respirator
- Replacing filters and cartridges
- Cleaning and storing your respirator
Around 55 minutes
Assessment will be carried out throughout the course. The purpose of the test questions is to reinforce the presented information and must be completed by every participant. In order to receive a certificate of completion, a score of 80% is required. If the passing score is not achieved on the first attempt, each participant is allowed to retake the course twice.
Participants who successfully complete the Respiratory Protection Training course will have the ability to print a certificate of completion via the learning management system.
