The Confined Space Entry Basics course online gives employees the necessary tools to maintain safety in Permit Spaces and assists employers in adhering to OSHA regulations, regardless if they are engaged in general industry or construction work. The 2015 OSHA Confined Spaces in Construction regulation (CFR 29 1926 Subpart AA) sets out explicit requirements for performing construction activities in confined spaces, and delivers clarity on regulations included in its Permit-Required Confined Spaces Standard for General Industry (29 CFR Part 1910.146). The Construction Standard can be applicable to many businesses not typically classified as construction-oriented.
