Respiratory Protection (CAN)

This Canada-compliant Respiratory Protection (CAN) course is designed to educate employees who may encounter respiratory hazards in their working environment. The training covers a range of topics including common respiratory illnesses, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and hazard identification. The course fulfills the theoretical aspect of occupational safety training requirements and includes a proficiency checklist for employers to use for practical evaluation. Upon completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of their Respiratory Protection (CAN) training. NOTE: Only an employer can certify an employee. Certification requirements may differ by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.

COURSE OVERVIEW


Our comprehensive Respiratory Protection (CAN) safety training course is designed to meet OSHA's requirements. It includes sections on common respiratory illnesses, the proper usage of PPE, safe work practices, and much more.

The course features periodic practice quizzes to prepare participants for the final written examination. Alongside the written test, the course provides a checklist for employers to conduct a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.

Estimated Training Duration: The duration of this training can vary based on individual learning pace. Generally, the Respiratory Protection (CAN) training takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
