This online Indigenous Cultural Awareness course offers an introduction to the diverse Indigenous peoples of Canada. While it is impossible to cover every aspect of their rich histories and cultures, this course aims to ignite curiosity and encourage further exploration. Key topics include the life of Indigenous peoples before colonization, the impacts of colonization, and insights into their vibrant cultures—all presented from Indigenous perspectives.

Participants will complete a final exam to test their knowledge and must achieve a mark of 80% to receive a certificate of completion. The course is designed to provide a strong foundation of knowledge and inspire ongoing learning about Indigenous cultures.
