Hot Work Safety (OSHA)

This course is a comprehensive safety training module that adheres to OSHA standards, designed for employees involved in hot work activities. This course fulfills the classroom instruction requirement for occupational safety training. It also comprises a proficiency evaluation checklist for employers. Upon successful completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card, indicating they have completed the Hot Work Safety (OSHA) training. NOTE: Only an employer has the authority to certify an employee. Certification requirements may differ according to state or province. Please refer to local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.

Our Hot Work Safety (OSHA) course is compliant with regulatory requirements, and our online version meets classroom training prerequisites. Each module includes sections on Pre-Shift Inspections, Safe Operations, and more.
In this course, we will explore the specific procedures and tasks required for hot work. As part of Hot Work Safety (OSHA) training, you will understand the significance of pre-shift inspections and safe operational practices during the shift. We will highlight the importance of comprehensive site inspection before initiating hot work and the necessity to secure a hot work permit. This course features practice quiz questions at regular intervals to prepare for the final written examination included within the course. It also includes a checklist for employers to use while conducting a practical examination as mandated by OSHA.
