In the First Aid – Musculoskeletal Injuries course, you will learn how to respond appropriately to suspected musculoskeletal injuries, such as sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations of joints, concussions, and injuries to the brain, neck, and spine.

By the end of the First Aid – Musculoskeletal Injuries course, you should be well-equipped to:

  • Recognize common extremity injuries and elucidate the primary response steps to a casualty with a fracture, sprain, or dislocation
  • Determine the possibility of a back, neck, or head injury in a victim
  • Outline the initial steps to be taken for a person who is suspected to have a back, neck, or head injury
