Upon finalizing the “First Aid – Environmental Emergencies” module, participants will gain the ability to identify and take appropriate action in response to a range of environmental emergencies such as poisoning, chemical spills, thermal stress, and encounters with harmful animals or insects.

After successfully completing the “First Aid – Environmental Emergencies” course, you will be equipped with knowledge to efficiently:

  • Determine the best course of action for a chemical spill scenario.
  • React to a situation involving poisoning.
  • Describe how to aid someone suffering from an animal or insect inflicted wound.
  • Take appropriate measures against heat stress.

PASS MARK

Evaluations conducted throughout this online module aim to reinforce the knowledge imparted. Achieving a score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. Participants are given two additional attempts to reach the pass mark if not achieved in the first attempt.
