Upon finishing, participants will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card demonstrating completion of the Concrete and Masonry Construction (CAN) training in Canada. COURSE OVERVIEW


Our Concrete and Masonry Construction (CAN) training course is in full compliance with regulations, and the digital version satisfies classroom-based training specifications. Each module encompasses sections on equipment, safe operations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and widespread hazards.
During this Concrete and Masonry Construction (CAN) training, we delve into the machinery and tools used on the job site. We focus on secure operations in cement handling, concrete placement, vertical shoring and reshoring, and formwork. We also touch on the safe handling of precast and prestressed concrete as well as lift slab operations. We'll explore proper masonry construction procedures. Moreover, you will become familiar with the PPE required in concrete and masonry construction. Lastly, we will review the most frequent hazards and discuss case studies to help prevent similar accidents.
This training includes periodic practice quizzes to prepare for the final written test included with the course. Along with the written test, this course provides an employer checklist for practical exam administration as mandated by OSHA.
While it is still necessary to be familiar with all other pertinent federal, state, and local standards, this training encompasses the following laws and regulations:
