An integral part of mitigating injuries, supervisors are trained in this course on MSD risk assessment techniques, prioritization and cost-benefit matrices. These tools are designed to optimize resource utilization and guide your organization towards economical solutions.
The study of Ergonomics revolves around tailoring work tasks to suit the worker instead of the other way round. It factors in the physical, physiological, biomechanical, and psychosocial aspects of the workers in relation to the arrangement and design of equipment, work procedures, and work techniques. Musculoskeletal disorders usually stem from the gradual damage of tissue due to daily strain linked to our work tasks. Essentially, the tissue's tolerance or limit has been surpassed. They are also recognized as repetitive strain injuries, repetitive motion injuries, and cumulative trauma disorders.
As part of their role in reducing injuries, supervisors are introduced to MSD risk assessment techniques, prioritization and cost-benefit matrices in the BCMSA Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) Training for Supervisors. These tools are devised to optimize resource usage and direct your organization towards budget-friendly solutions.
