This self-guided digital course complies with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for workplaces at risk. Participants will:
- Analyze fatalities resulting from opioid-induced toxicity in Ontario;
- Explore naloxone’s function, its application, and optimal practices for its use;
- Examine the legal framework in Ontario; and
- Understand how to identify an opioid overdose, apply Naloxone in the Workplace, and recognize potential risks associated with naloxone use.
