COURSE OVERVIEW

Are you equipped with the necessary skills to administer Naloxone in the Workplace? 

This self-guided digital course complies with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for workplaces at risk. Participants will:

  • Analyze fatalities resulting from opioid-induced toxicity in Ontario;
  • Explore naloxone’s function, its application, and optimal practices for its use;
  • Examine the legal framework in Ontario; and 
  • Understand how to identify an opioid overdose, apply Naloxone in the Workplace, and recognize potential risks associated with naloxone use.
