This Canada-compliant safety training course is designed for telecom employees and others working in proximity to RF emitters. It covers a variety of subjects including RF terminologies, emitters, detection devices and exposure. The course also provides insight into site safety, controls and personal protective equipment (PPE). The course satisfies the classroom-based requirement for occupational safety training and includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to evaluate practical skills. Upon completion, participants will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of their Radiofrequency (RF) Awareness training completion. Please note that only an employer can certify an employee. Certification requirements may vary by region, so it is recommended to review local standards for any additional training requirements.

Our Radiofrequency (RF) Awareness training course aligns with OSHA’s requirements, and the online version satisfies OSHA’s classroom training requirement.

The course features intermittent practice quiz questions to help prepare you for the final written exam included within the course structure. Additionally, a checklist is provided for employers to use when administering a practical exam, as required by OSHA.

Prerequisites:

  • None

CEUs:

  • This course qualifies for 0.3 CEUs.
  • To earn CEUs, the course must be fully completed, and the final exam passed with a minimum score of 80%.
