This Snowplow (CAN) safety training course is designed to meet Canada's safety requirements for snowplow operators. The curriculum covers areas like anatomy and pre-shift inspections, safe operations: preparation, safe operations: snow removal, and common hazards. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. Additionally, it features a proficiency checklist for employers to perform a practical evaluation. Successful trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card indicating completion of Snowplow training. NOTE: Only an employer can certify an employee. Certification requirements may differ by state or province. Consult local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
This Snowplow training course is designed to comply with regulations, with our online version meeting classroom training requirements. Each module includes sections on anatomy and components, safe operations, common hazards, among other topics. In this training, we delve into the basic anatomy and components of dump-truck-mounted snowplows. We will underscore the importance of pre-shift inspections and highlight common issues to look for when inspecting your plow before each use.

Testing conducted throughout this online Snowplow course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to pass this course. The course is able to be taken two times in efforts to achieve the pass mark.
Upon successful completion of this online Snowplow course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
