The BCMSA WHMIS 2015 course acts as an introductory platform for employees to get acquainted with the updated Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
Our BCMSA WHMIS 2015 course is an excellent preliminary resource for staff training in the most recent updates of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). The course includes a comprehensive review of the WHMIS 2015 At Work educational resources provided by WorkSafeBC. It's important to note that additional training centered around specific workplace hazards is also necessary.
Along with the current WHMIS 2015, participants will also learn about classification symbols from WHMIS 1988, since some products in the workplace may still use this system due to the phase-in period of WHMIS 2015 which ends on December 1, 2018.

The online BCMSA WHMIS 2015 course includes tests designed to reinforce the knowledge imparted. Learners need to score a minimum of 80% to be awarded a certificate of completion. If the required score is not achieved, participants have the option to retake the course twice.
Successful completion of this online course provides a certificate of completion, which can be downloaded and printed.
