You'll understand why proper posture is so important (hint: it's not just because it looks good), and you'll also see a bunch of foolish ways to lift things that you've probably done yourself.
Hearing Protection
- In this video, you'll learn how simple it is to suffer hearing loss in the workplace and how to prevent it. You'll also learn the difference between 80 decibels and 85 (which is not as evident as it should be), and there might be some other stuff in here too. We can't recall.
Fall Prevention Essentials
- Excluding motor vehicle accidents, falls at work are the most frequent form of workplace injury. This video will help you identify various falling hazards and take simple steps to prevent injury. We'll also cover some highly ineffective ways to prevent slips, trips & falls, and there may be several people ascending and descending stairs with varying degrees of success. Fire Prevention Essentials
- In case you don't want to catch on fire today, we've made this video to help ensure that you avoid the most common causes of fire in the workplace. You'll also see a terribly organized evacuation drill, and there might be a hint of romance in this one too. Enjoy!

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to pass this course. The course can be attempted three times in efforts to achieve the pass mark. Printable resources are available in the form of a comprehensive student manual. The manual is a valuable resource for future use and knowledge retention.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
