Workplace safety is a joint effort between employers and employees. Under the General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act of 1970), employers are required to provide a safe work environment. COURSE OVERVIEW

Workplace safety depends on the shared responsibility of both employers and employees. According to the General Duty Clause (Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act of 1970), employers must ensure a safe and healthful workplace. At the same time, employees must stay alert to potential hazards, take steps to mitigate risks, and report any unsafe conditions as they arise.

This course provides a foundational understanding of safe work practices, offering a broad overview of key workplace safety topics to promote a safer work environment.
