It provides guidance on how such incidents can be averted and offers practical steps for addressing occurrences in various work environments.
The course facilitates participants to understand and define workplace harassment and violence in the context of the Alberta OH&S Act. It outlines both system and personal security protocols for preventing workplace violence and provides strategies for managing “different,” “difficult,” and “dangerous” individuals. The course also covers the process of recovery from workplace harassment and violence.
