COURSE OVERVIEW

Welcome to the Workplace First Aid with CPR and AED Awareness (USA) course by Rescue 7. The prime objective of this course is to empower you with the skills to respond promptly and effectively to an emergency situation.

There is a high likelihood that at some point in your life, you will encounter a situation that demands knowledge of First Aid, CPR, and AEDs. This Workplace First Aid course has been structured to be easily understandable and ensure that everyone, irrespective of their proficiency level, gains the confidence to act decisively until professional emergency personnel arrive.

In emergency scenarios, every second is vital. We commend you for choosing to be amongst the growing number of individuals who are learning to utilize these critical moments to make a difference!

UNITED STATES – According to the guidelines provided by OSHA and the American Heart Association, it is recommended but not mandatory, to have one or more employees trained and certified in first aid, including CPR at every workplace. Additionally, there are no specific OSHA standards regarding automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

  • Musculoskeletal injuries 
  • Burns
  • Poisons, substance abuse, and misuse 
  • Environmental injuries and illnesses 

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Theoretical online component: Roughly 8 hours

PASS MARK

    The Workplace First Aid with CPR and AED Awareness (USA) session by Rescue 7 Inc consists of 24 modules, followed by a final examination, where the participant has to score at least 80% to complete the session. Upon successful completion of the online component, participants will be awarded an ‘Online Theory Based’ certificate of completion for the online awareness course.

      This course includes mandatory exercises that need to be finished before obtaining the Certificate of Completion. When a student logs off, each completed exercise will be automatically saved. Students have a duration of up to 60 days to finish the course.

      CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

      Upon successful completion of the Workplace First Aid with CPR and AED Awareness (USA) course, a Certificate of Completion will be available for participants to download and print. This certification holds a validity of three (3) years.
