This training aims to equip the workforce with the skills to identify potential dangers in their work environment, and the ability to eliminate actions and situations that may escalate into safety issues or costly incidents.
This Workforce Hazard Recognition Training aims to empower employees with the knowledge to identify and mitigate risks in their work environment. This includes recognizing actions and situations that may deteriorate into safety hazards or costly incidents.
Upon successful completion of the Workforce Hazard Recognition Training, participants should be able to:
- Understand the significance of hazard recognition in the workplace and the correlation between unsafe actions and incidents
- Know the best practices for evaluating, investigating, recognizing, and resolving hazards in the workplace
- Understand the advantages of utilizing a checklist during pre-shift inspections
- Recognize the four categories of hazards
- The Significance of Small Actions
- Tools for Hazard Recognition
- Maintaining Vigilance

Testing conducted throughout this online training is designed to reinforce the information shared. A score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not attained.
Upon successful completion of this online training, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
