Upon successful completion of the Work Zone Safety course, learners should have acquired the following knowledge:

- Interpret the requirements for traffic control plans
- Recognize the kinds of traffic that construction workers need to manage
- Define the five sections constituting a work area

An 80% score must be achieved for successful completion of the Work Zone Safety course. Participants are allowed up to three attempts to meet the pass mark.
