The Welding Safety Awareness course emphasizes that in the United States alone, over half a million employees across various sectors engage in welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering activities daily. Unfortunately, these tasks claim more than fifty lives annually and cause thousands of injuries. Furthermore, they result in considerable damage to workplaces due to fires and explosions. The Welding Safety Awareness course covers potential welding hazards, designated areas, work permits, confined spaces, fire prevention during welding, protection against toxic fumes, goggles, helmets and hand shields, gloves, clothing, other protective gear, and much more.

This Welding Safety Awareness online course is supplemented by tests throughout its duration to consolidate the knowledge imparted. A score of 80% is required to successfully complete the course. Learners have up to three attempts to achieve the pass mark. For future reference and knowledge retention, a detailed student manual is provided, which can be printed.
Upon successfully completing the Welding Safety Awareness online course, a certificate of completion will be readily available for download and print.
