COURSE OVERVIEW

Our web-based Welding Safety Awareness program serves as a reminder for workers about the potential hazards associated with welding and cutting tasks. The Welding Safety Awareness course emphasizes that in the United States alone, over half a million employees across various sectors engage in welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering activities daily. Unfortunately, these tasks claim more than fifty lives annually and cause thousands of injuries. Furthermore, they result in considerable damage to workplaces due to fires and explosions. The Welding Safety Awareness course covers potential welding hazards, designated areas, work permits, confined spaces, fire prevention during welding, protection against toxic fumes, goggles, helmets and hand shields, gloves, clothing, other protective gear, and much more.
