Vehicle Inspections: Refrigerated Trailers

COURSE OVERVIEW

Refrigerated trailers, more commonly referred to as “reefers”, are frequently used to transport temperature-sensitive items across the country. It’s imperative to execute comprehensive inspections to not only certify the tractor’s safe condition but also to validate that the commodities in the trailer remain fresh.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations mandate three types of vehicle examinations: pre-trip, during-the-trip, and post-trip inspections. Our Vehicle Inspections: Refrigerated Trailers course is tailored to illustrate the extra tasks required to carry out thorough inspections on refrigerated trailers.
