The core focus of "The Respectful Workplace" course is to educate managers, supervisors, and employees about the key features of a respectful workplace, give examples of various forms of harassment and bullying, and offer an all-encompassing explanation of Ontario Bill 168, BC Bill 14, and the Canadian Human Rights Act pertaining to respectful workplace behavior. The course aims to help individuals understand the roles and responsibilities of employers, supervisors, and workers in preventing and addressing such issues, and to equip them with practical tactics to enhance communication and foster a positive work atmosphere.
The unique "edutainment" approach creates an engaging learning environment where critical issues and learning points come alive through interactive discussions and dynamic, realistic scenarios enacted by professional actors.
The course duration is approximately 60 minutes.
Testing throughout "The Respectful Workplace" online course is designed to reinforce the information provided and ensure the concepts are thoroughly understood. A minimum score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. If needed, participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice to achieve the pass mark.
Upon successful completion of "The Respectful Workplace" online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and print.
