COURSE OVERVIEW


Transporting dangerous goods presents multiple risks to workers, the public, and the environment. Those participating in the transportation of such goods within Canada have the responsibility to prevent harm, damage, and environmental impacts by adhering to safety rules and operating in a responsible manner. To facilitate this, the TDG Act and Regulations were established. This includes, but is not limited to, correct handling, packaging, labelling, placarding, paperwork, and incident reporting protocols. PASS MARK


Assessments are carried out throughout the course. Test questions are designed to reinforce the information presented and must be completed by each participant. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Each participant is allowed to repeat the course THREE TIMES if the course pass mark has not been achieved on the first attempt. Additional materials to assist you through the course will be available upon registration.


CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION


Participants who successfully pass the course will be able to download and print an online certificate of completion through the learning management system.
