Slips, trips, and falls consistently rank amongst the top five causes of debilitating workplace injuries according to OSHA’s annual data. These accidents cost employers billions each year and sadly, they also make up 15% of all workplace-related fatalities.

The Slips, Trips, and Falls Hazard Perception Challenge is an online course specifically created to improve workers’ awareness of hazards associated with slips, trips, and falls, and to encourage proactive behavior in the face of such hazards.

Once the course is completed, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the distinctions between slips/trips and falls
  • Understand the factors contributing to slips, trips, and falls
  • Know how to effectively respond to these hazards in the workplace

PASS MARK

The Slips, Trips, & Falls: Hazard Perception Challenge course incorporates testing to solidify the concepts discussed. A score of 80% is required to attain a certificate of completion. If the passing score isn’t achieved initially, the course can be retaken twice.
