This OSHA-compliant Signal Person (OSHA) safety instruction course is designed specifically for signal persons. It covers a wide range of topics such as general safety information, site preparation, crane operations, and signal usage. This course satisfies the classroom training requirement for occupational safety. It also includes a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct a practical evaluation. Upon completion, a certificate or wallet card is available for download and print, indicating the completion of Signal Person training. NOTE: Only employers have the authority to certify an employee. Certification requirements can differ from one state or province to another. It is advisable to review local standards for any further occupational training requirements.
Our Signal Person (OSHA) training course complies with regulations, and the online version meets the classroom training requirements. The course is divided into sections dealing with general information, site preparation, crane operations, hand signals, and case studies. In this training, we explore the requirements for becoming a signal person, discussing how to maintain safety amidst common signaling hazards and basic safety principles. We also examine case studies, providing practical examples of common hazards and mistakes.
