This course, compliant with Canadian safety regulations, is designed for workers who utilize self-contained breathing apparatuses. The curriculum covers equipment know-how, safe handling, and rescue strategies. The course satisfies the theoretical portion of occupational safety training and provides a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct a practical assessment. Upon successful completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card signifying their completion of the Canada Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus training. Please note: Certification can only be conferred by an employer and certification requirements may differ by state or province. Please consult local standards for additional occupational training requirements.
Our SCBA Respirators (CAN) training course adheres to regulations, and the online format meets the requirements for classroom training.
Each module of the course focuses on understanding and inspecting the SCBA equipment, safe operations, and general rescue tactics.
Throughout the course, there will be periodic quiz questions to help prepare for the final written examination. Additionally, we provide an employer checklist for practical exams as mandated by OSHA.
