Risk Assessment (OSHA)

This OSHA-approved safety instruction course is designed for individuals responsible for conducting risk evaluations. The course curriculum includes risk identification and assessment, hazard management, and cost evaluation. This training satisfies the classroom session requirements for occupational safety education. It comes with a competency checklist that employers can utilize for practical assessment. After successful completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of finishing the Risk Assessment training. NOTE: Only the employer has the authority to certify an employee. Certification prerequisites may differ based on state or province. Consult local standards for any other occupational training mandates.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Risk Assessment training course complies with regulations, and our online version meets classroom training prerequisites.
The course curriculum includes sections on risk identification and assessment, hazard management, and cost evaluation of hazard control.

Throughout this course, we will examine the various stages of Risk Assessment and hazard management. You will understand the importance of risk assessments in ensuring the safety of you and your team. We will discuss how to identify potential hazards at your workplace, conduct a thorough risk assessment, and manage those hazards to minimize or eliminate risk to your team. Lastly, you will learn how to weigh the cost of hazard control against the cost of neglecting hazard management at your workplace.

This course includes periodic quiz questions to prepare for the final written exam. Along with the written exam, this course also provides an employer checklist for administering a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.

Training Duration Estimate: The time it takes to complete this course will vary as individuals learn and progress at different rates. However, the estimated time for this course is between 1.5 to 2 hours.

While you will still need to familiarize yourself with all other relevant federal, state, and local standards, this training includes the following laws and regulations:
