This Canadian-compliant safety training course is designed for individuals who will be conducting risk assessments. The curriculum includes modules on risk identification and evaluation, hazard control, and cost analysis. The course meets the theoretical requirement for occupational safety training and includes a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct a practical evaluation. After successful completion, learners can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of their Risk Assessment training. It's important to note that only an employer can officially certify an employee. Certification criteria may vary by region, so check local regulations for any additional training requirements.
Our Risk Assessment (CAN) training program is compliant with regulations, and the online version meets theoretical training needs.
The modules include sections on risk identification and evaluation, hazard mitigation, and the financial implications of hazard control.
In this Risk Assessment (CAN) course, we will explore the various steps of risk assessment and hazard control. Throughout the training, you will understand the importance of risk assessments for the safety of yourself and your employees. We will examine how to recognize hazards on your worksite, conduct a comprehensive risk assessment, and manage those hazards to minimize or eliminate risks to your employees. Lastly, you'll learn how to weigh the cost of hazard control against the cost of not managing workplace hazards.
