Propane is used for residential, commercial, industrial, and construction applications. This Propane Handling & Exchange Certification course teaches the basics of safely handling both liquid and vapor withdrawal cylinders, including their usage, storage, and exchange. Participants will learn how to properly inspect cylinders and handle emergency situations. The course also covers the components of cylinders and the science of propane, ensuring a thorough understanding of this chemical and how to stay safe when working with it. Legal requirements for competency, emergency response, and emergency first aid are also included.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion consistent with CSA Regulation B149.2-10 and OSHA 1910.110.
