The goal of this course is to equip office employees with the skills and knowledge needed to identify, circumvent, and eradicate workplace risks. It focuses on promoting individual safety and the wellbeing of colleagues through the correct implementation of safety measures.
The Office Safety - OSHA course underscores the compelling nature of safety as per the directives of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The General Duty Clause necessitates that employers present a work environment that is devoid of known hazards causing or likely to cause death or substantial physical harm. In the same vein, 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D mandates that walking-working surfaces be maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary state. Enforcing safety regulations is a shared responsibility between employers and employees. Thus, every employee has a significant part to play in fostering a secure office workspace for themselves and their colleagues.
