Normalization of Deviance

The phrase Normalization of Deviance emerged in the aftermath of the Challenger space shuttle disaster. It was identified that continuous hazardous activities were sanctioned during the project, extending even to the launch.

Over time, tolerating these perilous activities became the norm. If this could occur at NASA, it could occur in your institution.

In this course, Normalization of Deviance, you will acquire knowledge on how to identify and stop hazardous and unsafe practices from becoming conventional behavior both at work and home. You will learn how to avert the commencement of unsafe thoughts and actions.
