This Mould Awareness Training course prepares you to identify, manage, and prevent mould-related risks in any setting. You’ll learn how mould develops, the associated health dangers, and proactive steps for remediation. Interactive modules and assessments guide you through best practices for investigation, protective equipment (PPE) use, and creating a workplace mould management plan.
By completing this Mould Safety course, you will be able to:
- Understand the health impacts of both short-term and prolonged mould exposure
- Conduct thorough investigations to detect potential mould issues
- Apply effective strategies to prevent workplace mould growth
- Select appropriate PPE for handling and cleaning mould-affected areas
- Identify when to call certified professionals for mould remediation
- Develop a customized mould safety plan with defined roles, reporting, and emergency measures

To earn certification, learners must score 80% or higher. Up to three attempts are provided to achieve the required mark.
