Load Securement Training (Division 7 Vehicles as Cargo)

COURSE OVERVIEW

Designed to supplement the Basic Load Securement module, this training course provides a thorough review of the fundamental requirements set out in the Alberta Regulations Standard 10 Division 7 for the Transport of Vehicles. It’s important to note that this Load Securement Training is focused on commodity-specific aspects. Additional modules for specific commodities can be added for a more comprehensive study.

COURSE TOPICS

Introduction:

  • Description of Light Vehicles
  • Requirement for Tiedowns
  • Heavy Vehicles
  • Flattened or Crushed Vehicles
  • Containing loose parts

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Estimated time of completion: 30 minutes

PASS MARK

To obtain a completion certificate, a score of 80% is required. If the passing score is not achieved on the initial attempt, the course can be retaken once.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this Load Securement Training, a certificate can be downloaded and printed.
