The course covers crucial areas such as responsibilities, hazard management, and daily assessments. This course fulfills the theoretical requirement for occupational safety training and also provides a useful checklist for employers to conduct practical evaluations. Upon successful completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card verifying their completion of the Canadian Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) training. Note that only an employer can officially certify an employee. Certification prerequisites may vary by state or province, so it's recommended to check local regulations for any additional training requirements.
Our JHA/JSA training course is compliant with regulations, and our online delivery meets classroom training requirements. The course includes sections on the differences and roles of JHA and JSA in promoting workplace safety.
In this Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) training, we explore the specific procedures and tasks that a JHA or JSA performer must undertake. You will understand the significance of conducting a JHA and the workplaces where it’s mandatory. The training will underscore the roles of the employer, supervisor, and employee in the JHA process and discuss various hazard controls for workplace use. Lastly, we will address the importance of daily inspections and use case studies to illustrate the negative outcomes of non-compliance with JHA duties.
This course integrates practice quiz questions at intervals to prepare for the final written exam. Additionally, it includes an employer checklist for conducting a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.
