COURSE TOPICS

This eCourse is divided into 5 parts. Parts 1 to 4 discuss the Code. Part 5 guides you through Ontario’s human rights system.

Here’s the eCourse’s organization:

  • Part 1 discusses the Code: preamble, social areas, and grounds
  • Part 2 covers the Code and various forms of discrimination
  • Part 3 delves into interpreting and applying the Code: harassment, the obligation to accommodate, and exceptions to the Code.
  • Part 4 poses the question, “What constitutes discrimination under the Code?”
  • And Part 5 is about Ontario’s human rights system: its history and current state.
