Every year, heat stress negatively impacts the health of a significant number of workers. Whether they are operating under the scorching summer sun or working indoor amidst heat-generating machinery, it’s crucial for workers to be aware of how to identify and prevent heat stress and other heat-related health issues.
With a dynamic blend of audio, video, text, and colorful imagery, our Heat Illness and Injury Prevention course offers topic-centered lessons for clear understanding and retention. Participants will gain insights on how heat impacts the body, measures to prevent heat stress, and basic first aid to help a worker suffering from heat-induced illness.
The testing included in this Heat Illness and Injury Prevention course is meant to reinforce the content delivered. A score of 80% is required to earn a completion certificate. If the pass mark isn’t achieved, participants have the option to retake the course twice.
After successful completion of this digital course, a certificate of completion will be accessible for download and print.
