The Hazardous Spills online course educates workers about the potential dangers of HAZMATs and the necessary steps for their safe cleanup. While hazardous materials in the workplace are generally safe when handled appropriately, accidents can happen. Knowing how to respond to a spill prevents serious harm. The Hazardous Spills course covers important areas such as the basics of HAZMATs, the Emergency Action Plan, the role of the spill response team, initial actions in response to a spill, spill assessment and cleanup, unique risks associated with a HAZMAT spill cleanup, procedures for decontamination and waste disposal, and more.

Continuous testing throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. An 80% pass score is required to complete this course.
