COURSE OVERVIEW

This Hazard Communication (HazCom) course is designed to equip workers with the essential information to identify and evade these hazardous chemicals.

This digital Hazard Communication course aims to provide comprehensive knowledge about the HazCom Standard, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and chemical labels.

Upon completion of this Hazard Communication course, participants should have a better understanding of:

  • The HazCom Standard and the GHS as dictated by OSHA
  • The physical and health risks associated with chemicals
  • The components of the hazardous chemical program
  • The usage of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and warning labels in a work environment
