COURSE OVERVIEW

This course, "Hand Safety", has been designed to amplify workers' understanding of the susceptibility of hands to injury and to impart knowledge on safe hand practices. It aims to mitigate or entirely avoid hand-related injuries at the workplace. Given that nearly every job involves the use of hands, they are implicated in up to 80% of injuries at work. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control states that hand injuries account for over a million visits to the emergency room each year. By reducing the frequency of hand injury incidents, we can decrease lost work time, thereby maintaining productivity and the quality of life for workers.
