If not, it could malfunction, jeopardizing the safety of those who depend on it, and potentially leading to severe injury or death.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Gas Monitor Competence Training is not a luxury but a necessity. The gas detector, which is the worker's lifeline, is not included in the OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum. The OSHA courses are insufficient for ensuring workers' ability to operate their gas detectors safely and confidently. The Gas Monitor Competence Training is tailored to your specific monitor and provides information that is not available in manuals or YouTube videos. This course narrows the gap between "compliant" and "safe," and combines a confined space refresher with the most useful features of the gas monitors, thus more effectively complying with 1910.146(h)(2).
