DISCLAIMER

This curriculum is an addition to, not a replacement for, the operating manual that accompanied your product. It’s imperative to thoroughly read the manual prior to using the instrument. The product will function as expected only if it’s used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidance. If not, it may fail to perform, potentially causing serious injury or death to those who depend on it for their safety.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Gas Monitor Competence Training – RKI GX-2012 Gas Monitor training is a necessity, not a luxury, as the gas detector – the one piece of equipment that a worker’s life hinges on – is NOT COVERED in OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum. OSHA courses alone leave workers unable to securely and confidently operate their gas detectors. This course is tailored to your specific monitor and provides what you can’t find in manuals or YouTube videos. This course bridges the gap between being “compliant” and being “safe,” merging the components of a confined space refresher and the features of the gas monitors that are most beneficial to the workers, thus complying more effectively with 1910.146(h)(2).
