This course hones in on hazard perception skills, equipping employees with the ability to identify potential dangers and thus maintain safety for themselves and others.
Forklift-related incidents account for a significant number of injuries and fatalities each year. This course, Forklifts: Ultimate Hazard Perception Challenge (Intermediate), aims to heighten your understanding of the risks associated with forklift operation and to promote a proactive approach to hazard identification. As the second in our three-part series (basic, intermediate, and advanced), this course focuses on fine-tuning your hazard perception skills, enabling you to recognize potential dangers in any situation and ensure safety for you and your colleagues.
Our online Forklifts: Ultimate Hazard Perception Challenge (Intermediate) course delves into the following areas:
- Awareness of surroundings
- Ascension of ramps with or without freight
- Maintaining all body parts within the forklift frame
- Transporting with attachments
- Understanding when to cease forklift operations
Upon completion of this course, you will be equipped to:
- Effectively predict, identify, and respond appropriately to forklift hazards in the workplace
- Recognize and implement best practices in all forklift operations
- Steer clear of hazardous behaviors and errors while operating a forklift
The course duration is approximately 30 minutes
Testing conducted throughout this online Forklifts: Ultimate Hazard Perception Challenge (Intermediate) course aims to reinforce the information provided. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the course. You will have up to three attempts to achieve the pass mark. For future reference and knowledge retention, a comprehensive student manual is available for download and print.
A certificate of completion will be provided for download and print upon successful completion of this online course.
