The “Forklift – Inspection and Maintenance” course functions as the theoretical instruction portion of forklift driver training, which is typically followed by practical operator instruction and location-specific training. The rules for forklift operation are detailed in 29 CFR 1910. This module will offer elementary knowledge on forklift inspection and upkeep, along with details on refuelling a combustion engine forklift and recharging an electric forklift.

Tests conducted during this online module are designed to consolidate the information provided. A score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
